A statement of interest merely says that you'd be interested in particular services that Korff.Org will offer in under a year. Please check all that apply. Note: In submitting your E-Mail address, you may rest assured that it will neither be given out, nor will you receive a single E-Mail message until these services are available. At that point, you may choose to subscribe for services, or never to hear from us again. Below are descriptions of these potential services.
- E-Mail Address
- An E-Mail address (you@korff.org) will be sent any email address of your choosing. This means, regardless of where you are in the world, and regardless of who is providing you Internet Service, your friends will always be able to reach you at you@korff.org.
- Web Page
- You will be given a set amount of storage space for your personal web page. There will be no restriction on content, and we will eventually add support for commercial sites (with domain name service).
- Message Board
- You may use an online message board for chatting with others who join this site, be they Korffs or otherwise. These messages will be of a public nature and run the gambit of conversation topics.
- Personal Profile
- Your personal profile may contain as much or as little information as you would like, so that family members may access your current vital statistics and contact you by a variety of means. This information will be very private, password protected, and available only to those whom you give a passphrase.
- Korff Search
- Lost a Korff? Interested in finding out whether another Korff member is a distant relative? You may use the Korff search to get this information. This will work as more members join and specify their relations with other members of the Korff family. Note: this may also include those who do not have a Korff name.
- Newsletter Services
- Newsletters are a great way of letting your friends and family know what you've been up to over the last few months, year, or whatever! Use Newsletter Services to send an email notification to those who subscribe (this will work like a List Server).
